Really like the ability to remove the hitch when not in use. Easy mechanism to release and remove. So worth the extra money for the clean look.

I always heard good things about the Stealth hitches and decided to go for it to put in on my X5 which has the M Sports package, it fit perfectly and was snug. Top advantage being the receiver can be removed when not in use so that the vehicle has the original look. Highly recommended.
I want to start off to say that I LOVE my Stealth Hitch. I would like to say if you're looking for a hitch and you don't want a hitch that is going to ruin the look of your SUV, you have to get the Stealth Hitch. My BMW X5 is the sport package and I didn't want a hitch to be sticking out of the rear of my SUV when not in use. Putting on and taking off the receiver on my BMW is very easy. I was a little concerned about having the rear facia of my car taking off to have the hitch installed but it was worth it. I used a local independent hitch installer who did a GREAT job. I would say shop around because I was getting all kinds of crazy prices for installation. My hitch was installed in 2 hours flat. I would say if you shopping around for a hitch and want to keep your SUV just the way you bought it without a hitch sticking out, get the Stealth Hitch. I have done so much homework on YouTube and social media and every time the Stealth Hitch is what keeps coming up if you want to save the look of your vehicle
Oh! and one last thing I don't in any way work for etrailer. I'm just a consumer that thinks that this hitch is perfect and great for our mountain bikes

If you want a hidden hitch for your performance vehicle then look no further. The hitch is very well made and solid. The included instructions are helpful, but there are some Youtube videos that are even more informative. Getting the bumper cover off the vehicle is a real challenge. I used the tips of wood shims to release the wheel arches plastic clips and bamboo skewers to release the rear gate clips. Disconnecting the PDC sensor cable is a big pain too. The whole process requires immense patience and attention to detail. Good luck with your installation.
